ORP Sensor orp101 is mainly used for chromate reduction and cyanide oxidation in industrial waste water application. Add sodium bisulfide or sulfur dioxide into waste water,hexavalent chromium ion can be charged to trivalent chrome ion. Chlorine or sodium chlorite can be used to oxidize cyanogen chloride. The reaction is called oxidation-reduction system. ORP Sensor also can be used to measure the effect of disinfection to swimming pool, mineral water and tap water.Microorganisms is required to be tested through ORP measurement of the water. The ORP value is a reliable control parameter of water quality.
